Worldwide teddy bear hunt helps distract children under lockdown

A mass teddy bear hunt is under way around the world to help distract the millions of children locked down because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Stuffed toys are being placed in windows to give children a fun and safe activity while walking around their neighbourhood with parents.

People put teddy bears and other stuffed animals in windows, on porches, in trees and on parked cars. Then, children go for walks or drives with their families and try to spot as many as they can.
The hunt is inspired by the children’s book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, written by UK author Michael Rosen and who is suffering from suspected coronavirus His family said that he is “very poorly at the moment” but is stable and alert and in intensive care.
Teddies have been spotted around the world.
