25 persons arrested by Maltese Drug Squad after possession of drugs during ‘entertainment’ activities

Twenty five persons aged between 17 and 42 have been arrested by the Drugs Squad Police during the night in Rabat, Malta.

These people were found in possession of what is thought to be cocaine, ecstasy pills, cannabis grass and Ketamine after searches were made during entertainment activities.

Four persons, a 37-year-old Serbian man residing in Saint Paul’s Bay, a 21-year-old Russian man residing in Gwardamangia, a 28-year-old Maltese man residing in Qormi and a 17-year-old woman residing in Tarxien, were arrested in connection to a find of around 50 ecstasy pills which indicated that they were ready to be sold during the night.

Police investigations are still underway.
