A 27-year-old woman residing in Luqa is suffering from grievous injuries following a traffic accident in Mdina Road, Zebbug, last night, at about 0110hrs.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the woman was driving a Maruti 800 when somehow she lost control and the car overturned.
CPD had to be called on site to assist the victim who was trapped inside the car. An ambulance rushed her to Mater Dei Hospital to be treated for the injuries she sustained.
Police investigations are still underway.
