A 3.3 magnitude earthquake was felt on the Ionian coast of Sicily, specifically between Catania and Syracuse.
The tremor was distinctly felt by the population of Carlentini, Lentini, Augusta, Giarre and in other municipalities of the Catania and Syracuse areas.
The earthquake was felt at 2115h of Saturday.
