€4.5 million are being invested in two schemes that are aimed at supporting events while the Malta Tourism Authority’s (MTA) is undergoing a reform in the way its sponsorship scheme works, Minister for Tourism and Consumer Protection Julia Farrugia Portelli announced on Friday.
