I faced it like when I was a footballer, I immediately gave myself long-term goals: do not die before my parents and bring my daughters to the altar – Gianluca Vialli on Che Tempo Che Fa (VIDEO)

“I find it hard to say but I think this experience, which you would gladly do without, has made me a better person, it helps you to see things from a different perspective, give more value to things, to the family, you have to take care of yourself”.

This is how Gianluca Vialli, Fabio Fazio’s guest at ‘Che Tempo che fa su Rai1’, talked about his most difficult battle, the one with cancer, which he has overcome at the moment.

The champion added: “I faced it like when I was a footballer, I immediately gave myself long-term goals: do not die before my parents and bring my daughters to the altar, and then short-term goals: ‘operation, hospitalization, chemo, radio, holidays in Sardinia with a physical to show “.

Vialli then wanted to thank the fans who have displayed banners of solidarity in the stadiums: “It was beautiful and moving, so many years have passed but they still remember …”
