An explosion which was heard from as far as Ta’ Kandja shook many persons a short while ago. It appears that some material was being burnt in front of the Qormi St Sebastian fireworks factory when the explosion took place. TVM reports that no one was injured in the incident.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muscat was reported saying on One  that economic growth is important for the well being of the people.

The Nationalist Party needs to be the voice of those who are not being allowed to express themselves. Party Leader Adrian Delia was reported saying this by Net News  this during an interview, which formed part of a fund raising marathon organised by the Party.
