Iker Casillias stable after suffering heart attack during training

Former Spain and Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has been hospitalised after suffering a heart attack in training, said his club.

Casillas, 37, who plays for Portuguese side FC Porto, suffered an “acute myocardial infarction” on Wednesday morning.

FC Porto, who said Casillas was “stable and his heart problem resolved”, tweeted their support for the shot-stopper.
