The Times of Malta quotes an Ombudsman report accusing the government of oppressing patients who are denied medicine they should be entitled to. The report urges government to review discriminatory regulations.
The Times of Malta also reports on the case and says that Emanuel believed his partner was under a ‘bad omen’ before he strangled her to death. The accused had been admitted to Mount Carmel hospital two weeks after the murder.
