47 persons who found themselves in distress in the Mediterranean Sea and were were rescued by the Italian Coast Guard disembarked in Pozzallo.
In all, 53 persons were rescued from the boat in the Sicilian Channel by the Coast Guard patrol boat.
Six of them were immediately transferred to Lampedusa due to medical problems.
