In-Nazzjon reports that the court turned down a request for bail by one of the three men accused of the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia. Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit decided that Vince Muscat should remain in custody while the compilation of evidence is taking place.
In-Nazzjon quotes Opposition Leader Adrian Delia who announced that the Opposition is willing to delay parliament’s summer recess to debate a public inquiry into the killing of Daphne Caruana Galizia. Delia said that the government is acting against the national interest by resisting the inquiry.
