Pringles has just launched an all-new snack that it calls “out of this world” and “out of the can.” Pringles’ latest snack is shaped and packaged differently than consumers might expect.
The beloved chip brand’s new Pringles Mingles are air-puffed and bagged. The permanent addition to the Pringles line is the first non-canned chip in more than 15 years, according to a press release.
Rather than the saddle-shaped Pringles fans know, Mingles look like bowties. The air-puffed snacks are meant to “melt in your mouth,” according to a press release, and be “crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside.”
The snacks are available at grocery stores nationwide now and will be permanent Pringles products.
The new snack comes in bite-size, bowtie-style puffs, which are inspired by Mr. P’s signature look. It includes three flavors, Cheddar & Sour Cream, White Cheddar and Ranch, and Dill Pickle & Ranch.
As the brand explained, the Cheddar flavor comes with “hints of buttery cheddar cheese seamlessly blend with creamy, tangy sour cream notes,” while its White Cheddar & Ranch flavor includes “harp, aged white cheddar cheese flavor meets zippy buttermilk and herb ranch notes.” And, its Dill Pickle flavor comes with “zesty dill pickle mingles with buttermilk and herbaceous ranch notes.”
US Marketing Lead for Pringles at Kellanova commented on the Pringles Mingles saying, “Our iconic Pringles can is part of our identity—and it’s not going anywhere—but we’re always looking for new ways to innovate and satisfy our fans’ latest cravings. This puffy, airy snack not only gives fans a new way to experience Pringles, but its easy-to-share packaging creates a new way to enjoy their favorite snack with friends and family, whether munching at home for movie night, at a party, or on the go.”
