If an election was to be held today, Malta’s Partit Laburista would get 58.1% of the votes, while the PN would get close to 39%, according to a survey published by Maltese Newspaper It-Torċa . Prime Minister Muscat trust level is 58% while trust in Adrian Delia stood at 28.8%.
The results indicate that the gap between the Labour Party and the Nationalist Party has grew further, when compared to June’s European Election result.
According to the survey done by statistician Vincent Marmara, the gap between the PN and the PL would translate itself in 60,000 votes.
According to the report accompanying the survey, the main reason for this result is linked to those who voted PN in 2017 who are not sure to which party to vote.
The confidence in Prime Minister Joseph Muscat’s has soared to 88% among those who voted Labour in 2017. On the other hand, only 57.6% of those who voted PN in 2017 trust Dr Adrian Delia as Prime Minister.
23% of those interviewed, said that had no trust in any leader.
