Photo Story: Durga Puja festival in Kolkata

A makeshift pandal, a temporary structure set up to usually venerate the god and goddess, made of wood, fiber, metal and bamboo under the theme ‘Urbanization’ by artist Rintu Das ahead of the Durga Puja festival in Kolkata, eastern India.

Bengalis all over the world will be marking the festival representing the victory of good over evil and the celebration of female power from 04 to 08 October.
