Average salary tops €20,000 for the first time: The Headlines – Kulħadd

Kulħadd reports that the average pay has risen to over €20,000 according to figures by the National Statistics Office. The paper says that salaries have increased by an average €4,100 annually since 2013.

Another story lists a series of new measures that will come into effect as from Wednesday, the first day of 2020. The paper says that the new social measures will upgrade quality of life and stimulate the economy.

The paper carries an interview with Dr Aaron Zammit Apap from anti-bullying organisation bBrave who says that more research is needed to understand the bullying situation in schools and the place of work in Malta.

Kulħadd says that people close to PN Leader Adrian Delia have warned him to be cautious ‘how much and about whom’ he speaks. The paper claims also that civil society group Repubblika intends to ‘compete with the PN’.
