Kulħadd says that the government spends around a million euros every month on medicinal products considered ‘exceptional’. The Committee that evaluates demands for these types of products received some 2,500 requests to date.
Another report in the paper says that the public spend on student stipends is around €3 million more every year than what it was in 2012. The paper says that the Nationalist Party had criticised the government’s decision to increase the grant.
