Special Counsel Robert Mueller has submitted his long-awaited report on alleged collusion between Russia and President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign. A justice department official said Mr Mueller’s report did not recommend any further indictments.
The special counsel has already charged six former Trump aides and dozens of Russians.
The Wall Street Journal published a very detailed timeline of the events, according to documents from the Mueller probe which highlights the most salient moments in the investigation .
This includes the Maltese connection, when Prof. Joseph Mifsud, a Maltese academic named in connection with alleged meddling in the 2016 US election, told Trump adviser George Papadopoulos on April 26, 2016 at a London hotel that the Russians have “dirt” on Hillary Clinton in the form of “thousands of emails.”
