An old-fashioned US diner has gone viral after an interesting addition to its menu caught the attention of a passing customer this month.
While offering a totally authentic experience, the restaurant also caters to those dates that just can’t make up their minds.
Mama D’s menu offers a range of burgers, sandwiches and fried chicken, but a side dish has caught the world’s attention.
The unique dish, printed on the bottom right-hand corner of the menu, is called “My Girlfriend is Not Hungry”.
Rather than wasting money on an entirely new meal, or letting your date pick at your own order, the menu provides a handy third alternative for just $6.
“Add extra french fries to your entree, and fried chicken wings (2) or fried cheese sticks (3),” the menu reads.
The item has been available at Mama D’s since its opening but only gained global attention this week after a customer, Nick Chisler, shared a snap of it on his Facebook page during a visit.
