Bad weather causes Liguria bridge collapse

A bridge in Italy’s region of Liguria (close to Savona) collapsed. A spokesman for the company operating the highway confirmed the news.

Bad weather had caused a rather big landslide that hit the viaduct and that one car may have been involved according to ANSA.

Heavy rains have caused widespread flooding in northern Italy this month.
