U2 singer Bono’s son has said being the child of a rock superstar is both a blessing and a curse as he launches his own band.
Elijah Hewson, 20, who fronts Irish group Inhaler, has revealed there are pros and cons to being in a band as the son of one of music’s most recognisable stars.
The band have so far only released a few singles, but have already bagged support slots with Oasis legend Noel Gallagher, and Stockport indie band Blossoms.
Speaking to the BBC about the band, and input of dad Bono, Hewson Jnr. said: “A lot of U2 fans do come to our gigs, who are all really lovely. They’ve all been really supportive, so obviously that’s a benefit.
