Brexit boost for Theresa May

Sky News reported that British Prime Minister Theresa May received a major boost in the current Brexit conundrum and ahead of key Commons votes.

May was given a vital endorsement of her deal by Sir Graham Brady, the Tories’ backbench leader, who said he is ready to drop his opposition to the prime minister’s contentious deal. Brady’s endorsement is significant as he is also the powerful chairman of the 1922 Committee.

Brady expressed his endorsement in an article in the Mail on Sunday, where he denounces the government’s handling of the Brexit negotiations as “lions led by donkeys”. But in spite of the harsh words, Brady signalled that he was ready to back the PM’s deal, he concludes: “The whole country is tired of vacillation and delay.
On a more optimistic note, he adds,”My conversations with senior diplomats and politicians from across Europe have given me cause for optimism that a breakthrough is near.
