Ceremonial destruction of counterfeit goods in the Philippines

A government worker cuts up a counterfeit wallet during a ceremonial destruction of fake consumer goods worth 80.2 million pesos (1.4 million euro) at Camp Crame police headquarters in Quezon City, east of Manila, Philippines.

The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines warned that technology, digital platforms and online intermediaries are aggressively being utilized in piracy operations to sell counterfeit products.
