Ronaldo’s career has seen him plunder goals with Manchester United and Real Madrid before his move to Italy in July, and his prolific form has continued.

His milestone goal could not have been simpler as he tapped home from close range after Ionut Radu had failed to deal with Joao Cancelo’s deflected strike. The 18th-minute strike is Ronaldo’s fifth in nine Serie A appearances for the Bianconeri.

The Daily Mail said that Cristiano Ronaldo sent an ominous reminder to former club Manchester United ahead of facing them on Tuesday in the Champions League but his goal proved in vain on Saturday evening as Juventus were held by Genoa.

The Portugal player, 33, scored 84 in the Premier League for Manchester United, 311 in La Liga for Real Madrid and he has five in Serie A for Juventus.
