The editorial of L-Orizzont focuses on the first year of the new labour administration as tomorrow, one year ago, the Labour Party was confirmed in power. The editorial focuses on the promises done and what was delivered so far, quoting a Maltese saying, which indicates that the mornings are indicative of how the day will evolve, thus the first year is indicative of how the next will be.
The Times editorial entitled Healthy body and peace of mind refers to a study by Carmel Cefai about the health and well-being of 3,000 children aged between eight and thirteen and how this picture shows lack of exercise, general inactivity and obesity among Maltese children. It argues that there should be more effort to introduce appropriate lifestyle changes, including dietary modifications to control obesity which could save Malta’s health service millions.
