Three new Coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Malta with infected persons now at 12. The new cases involve a 45-year old Maltese man, a 40-year old Italian and a 30-year old Maltese woman who works in the health sector. These cases, confirmed by the Health Superintendent, are all imported cases and currently there is no local transmission. Prof. Gauci said that more cases are expected to emerge. Source: TVM

The body of a 40-yer-old woman has been found in a rented car that crashed off a cliff into Birguma valley, police have confirmed. Police later confirmed the victim was a woman from Korea, who was living in Balzan and was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigations are ongoing. Source: Times of Malta
The interconnector has been fixed, Energy Minister Michael Farrugia told The Malta Independent. Speaking with this newsroom, the minister said that the interconnector is already back on the seabed now, and is expected to be loaded into the system later on today, at around 4.30p.m., after which Enemalta will then be able to purchase energy from it.
