Gozo Innovation Hub inaugurated: The Headlines – L-Orizzont

L-Orizzont reports on the inauguration of the Gozo Innovation Hub, a ‘prestigious address’ for business in the technology sector. The €9 million project is expected to create around 120 jobs in the island.

Another story says that Malta was named at a London conference as an ‘alternative base’ for companies in Britain after Brexit. The paper says that several large companies such as Airbus, Aviva and Honda announced they would relocate from the UK.

The paper also quotes Prime Minister Joseph Muscat who said that, while economic conditions are weakening internationally, the European Commission predicts that Malta’s economy will register the biggest growth in the coming two years.
