If a grandfather dies, it is not less valuable than the death of a younger person – Lino Banfi

If a grandfather dies, it is not less valuable than the death of a younger person. Italian actor Lino Banfi said this in view of the various reports which are labelling the deaths of people from Coronavirus on the basis of the age, as if being old means it’s ok to die.

Banfi became the “grandfather of Italy” on television thanks to ‘Un Dottore in Famiglia”

Banfi said that “as a child, when I was still living in Canosa di Puglia, I had typhoid, paratyphoid, malaria and viral hepatitis in series … I had to die at ten years old and today that I am 84 years old I can say that those diseases have strengthened and strengthened me.”

So, I tell all the old men like me not to be afraid of the coronavirus and to be calm, because we have antibodies and we are strong! ”
