Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has declared income this year of almost half a million euros according to MP income statements posted online this week.
The premier’s income rose from 293,531 euro last year to 459,460 euro in 2024, the statement said.
Deputy Premier and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini, in his returns, declared an unchanged income of 99,699 euro.
Of the opposition figures to post their 2024 returns, Democratic Party (PD) leader Elly Schlein also declared the same income as 2023, 98,471 euro.
