Malta-based company exhibits revolutionary heart monitor at Intelligent Health

Umana was one of the select companies taking part in Intelligent Health in Basel, Switzerland. The Malta-based company exhibited its revolutionary Umana T1 Heart Monitor at the international summit, the world’s foremost event in medical Artificial Intelligence bringing together 7,000 participants from various health-related fields.

The Umana T1 ecosystem was overwhelmingly well received by the attendees as the Umana team took the opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities of the flagship product. The Heart Monitor is an unobtrusive remote monitoring system that gathers vital data through a high-tech skin sensor. Similar to a temporary tattoo, the ‘Smarter Skin’ sensor delivers real-time and continuous data measurement and analysis of a range of heart-related activities.

“It was a big week for us in Basel but the hard work and commitment from our team certainly paid off. We are thrilled to see the great support for Umana and its products by experts in medical AI,” said CEO Dr Adrian Trevisan.

One of the speakers at the summit, Dr Trevisan spoke about the cutting-edge methodologies that Umana is currently developing and implementing.

The next step for the Umana T1 Heart Monitor is a multi-country launch in Portugal, UK, Italy, Malta and Turkey. Meanwhile, the company has plans to introduce the innovative product in other EU countries, the Middle East and Asia.
