Malta: Concerns over public land sold to Tumas Group subsidiary

The Times reveals that an internal audit by the Lands Authority found that a tract of public land in Qormi that was put up for sale upon the request by a Tumas Group subsidiary, did not go through the mandatory vetting process. The report also says that the final price appears ‘undervalued’.

A second story quotes Public Health Superintendent Charmaine Gauci who said that the measures to control the Covid-19 spread will only be completely lifted once a vaccine has been developed and the entire population is immune.
