Today at around 1015hrs, the Police were informed that their assistance was needed in dock 7 in Marsa since there was an injured person.
The Police went immediately on site where preliminary investigation showed that a 21 year old Egyptian man fell from a ladder while he was going on a trawler to carry out some works in dock 7.
An ambulance was called on site to take the victim to Mater Dei hospital for further treatment. Later he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.
Police investigation is still on going.
