Malta: Eight new cases of Covid-19 – and 17 others recover

In the wake of Sunday’s announcement that for the first time ever, there had not been any new cases of Covid-19 in Malta, eight cases have been confirmed today, and this after 1,072 swabs were carried out yesterday.

The Public Health Superintendent stated that today’s number pushed up the total of those who have tested positive in Malta to 458. Professor Gauci added that a total of 303 infected persons have recovered, which brings the total number of active cases in Malta down to 151.
