Aftonbladet titled its article “Löfven, do not protect the journalist killers” with a sub-headline which ran “Debaters: Put internal political interests aside and distance themselves from corrupt Malta”. Files related to the secret Panamanian company Egrant could have been contained in a USB stick whose whereabouts are unknown, according to the Egrant inquiry report. The full report was published earlier this week by Opposition Leader Adrian Delia, shortly after the Constitutional Court found that his rights had been breached when he was refused a copy of the infamous inquiry. In July of last year, the government had published 50 pages of conclusions from the inquiry, which found no evidence that Egrant belonged to Joseph or Michelle Muscat, as had been claimed by the late journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia. The telecommunications company Vodafone has announced that it will be selling its Malta branch. In a statement, Vodafone Malta said it will be sold to Monaco Telecom, for the price of €250 million. It explained that even after the acquisition, it would still be operating under the name of Vodafone for a transition period which is expected to end by the first quarter of next year. Source: TVM
