Malta: Justice Ministry critical of AG lawyer’s sudden change of employers

The Times quotes a statement by the Justice Ministry calling a lawyer’s decision to leave the Attorney General’s office to join businessman Yorgen Fenech’s defence team ‘insensitive’ but assured that he was never involved in the proceedings related to the Caruana Galizia case.

Another story reports that a second Captain Morgan tourist boat sailed out of port on Thursday to pick up 120 migrants rescued in Maltese waters while the ports are closed. Meanwhile, eight people including two children and a pregnant woman were brought to shore.
