Malta: Medavia ejects employees despite winning lucrative deal

Malta Today says that aviation company Medavia has let pilots, cabin crew and engineers go even after having won a profitable contract to deliver supplies for the World Food Programme. Four employees are, meanwhile, stranded in South Sudan.

Another story publishes predictions by the International Monetary Fund indicating that Malta’s economy will be the least impacted by the Covid-19 outbreak out of the 27 EU member states.
