Malta: MFSA focusing on anti-money laundering

The Independent quotes the 2019 annual report of the financial services watchdog which prioritises the fight against money laundering and financial crimes. The paper says the sector represents five percent of total employment in Malta.

Another story says that five people have announced their candidacy for the role of Police Commissioner. The deadline for the public call for applications was Monday and the Public Service Commission will now shortlist the candidates to two.
