Malta: Police preparing for wave of criminality

The Times quotes Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri who said that the police are readying themselves for a spike in crime as the economic impacts of the crisis begin to emerge. The minister said that the police had a ‘contingency plan’ in place.

Another report says that people with medical conditions were left confused by government guidelines that seem to relax official orders for lockdown, starting today. The paper says that the category of ‘vulnerable people’ is not sufficiently clear.
