Malta: Roadworks to continue after government sets dumping rates

Malta Today reveals that the government intervened to fix the price of construction dumping at €12 per tonne at the Wied Inċita quarry in Attard. Roadworks had to be suspended from Monday as the government was unwilling to meet the €18 per tonne market price.

Another story reports that eight new Covid-19 cases were registered on Tuesday while another 17 new patients were confirmed recovered. The paper says that health authorities have conducted 30,000 swab tests since the start of the pandemic.
