Malta: Two Libyans injured following argument in St. Paul’s Bay

Two men from Libya have been injured following an argument which took place in Triq il-Ġifen, in St. Paul’s Bay, today, the 21 July, 2019 at around 0830hrs.

Preliminary investigation by the District Police found that the argument took place between the men, aged 35-years-old and 27-years-old, and a group of persons, allegedly of a foreign nationality.

An ambulance was called on site and took the 27-year-old to Mater Dei hospital for further treatment. Later, he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.

The 35-year-old went to the Health Centre for further medical assistance.

Police investigations are still underway.
