The Times of Malta calls for the sacking of  Johann Buttigieg, MTA Chairman, after its sister paper, The Sunday Times, revealed the proximity between the former planning authority boss and businessman Yorgen Fenech.

The Independent insists on respect of social distancing regulations in an effort to get rid of the virus from our shores, taking to task a number of Hamrun Spartans football fans who celebrated their team’s victory, with the Editor describing the impromptu carcade as an “illegal street party”.

L-Orizzont makes a case for a more social Europe arguing that the majority of citizens feel that there is a lack of adeguate social protection, access to employment and healthcare while minority rights are not truly respected.

In-Nazzjon rails against what is described as Government insensitivity during this critical moment of the pandemic, particularly through emphatic declarations which have resulted in decreased prudence and a consequent increase in cases.
