Man treated for injuries sustained from machete attack in Enfield Station in London

A man was attacked with a machete at Enfield Town Station in north London on Sunday morning, police said.

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

British Transport Police officers were called to the London Overground station on Southbury Road at 3.11am.

Two men, both 20-years-old, were arrested following a search of the area and remain in police custody.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “BTP are appealing for further information following an attack with a machete at Enfield Town Station.
