Mild earthquakes in Sicily and Udine

 

A minor earthquake has hit Sicily this morning. The epicentre was a kilometre from Adrano in Catania at a depth of 18km.

 

The tremor was measured at 4 on the Richter scale and hit the area between Messina and Catania at 4.38am.

 

No damage or injuries were reported so far.

 

To the north of Italy, there was another light earthquake of the the intensity of 3.2 on the Richter Scale in the province of Udine .

 

The tremor happened at 11.09 pm of Sunday night. According to the Istituto Nazionale Di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), the epicentre was in Verzegnis at a depth of 4km and there were no reports of damages or casualties.
