Missile launcher ‘souvenir’ confiscated from a passenger check-in luggage

Airport security officials have seized a missile launcher “souvenir” from a man’s check-in luggage.

The launcher was confiscated at Baltimore/Washington International Airport in Maryland, US.

According to the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the passenger said he was bringing the missile launcher back from Kuwait as a souvenir.

Military weapons are not permitted in checked or carry on bags.

It is not the first strange piece of luggage to be found by TSA. In August 2018, officers discovered a set of his and hers replica grenades in checked luggage at Newark Liberty International Airport.
