Muscat bags undesired title by international anti-corruption body: The Headlines – The Times

The Times reports that the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project named Joseph Muscat Person of the Year 2018. The anti-corruption body of investigative journalists said that Muscat ‘failed leadership’ is a threat to the EU’s foundations.

Another story follows the testimony of Paul Caruana Galizia as part of the independent inquiry into the assassination of his mother. He said that the executive not only failed to protect the journalist but caused a ‘real and immediate’ risk to her life.
