The NGO-run search-and-rescue ship Ocean Viking will be allowed to disembark the 104 asylum seekers it rescued on October 18 in the Sicilian port of Pozzallo, the Italian interior ministry said.
The ministry said Germany and France will take 70 of the migrants based on a recent agreement reached by various EU nations in Malta.
