Opposition will not nominate a new PA board representative: The Headlines – The Independent

The Independent leads with the decision by the Nationalist Party not to appoint a new representative on the Planning Authority board after MP Marthese Portelli withdrew from it. In a statement, the party said that the PA ‘does not respect the people’.

The paper also asks Infrastructure Minister Ian Borg about reports of structural damage to the newly opened flyover in Marsa. The minister dismissed the claims and said that what appear to be holes are only spaces for planned expansion joints.
