Ugandan travelers arrive at the main Gatuna crossing border between Rwanda and Uganda, Rwanda, 31 January 2022. Rwanda reopened its land border with Uganda following a three year closure where the frontier had been closed in February 2019. This has been viewed as a positive step in renewed political and trade relations between the two East African nations.
