According to news reports, Shakespeare’s Globe is calling for urgent funding to avoid insolvency. Meanwhile, the UK’s economy has suffered a 2-percent fall, its worst decline since the 2008 financial crash, due to the global effects of the ongoing pandemic of the COVID-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
