Photostory: Car hits group of toddlers in Japan, killing two

Two cars are loaded onto vehicle transport trucks after they collided at a crossing, causing one of the vehicles to plunge into a group of nursery school children and teachers, in Otsu, Shiga prefecture, Japan.

Two of the children nursery school students were killed and 13 others children were injured. The children, aged between 2 and 3, were taking a walk from a nursery school when the two vehicles collided and one rammed into them. Two nursery school teachers were among the injured.

The two female drivers 52 and 62, were arrested on the spot.
