Reports that Israel attacked Iranian targets in Iraq

The London-based Al-Sharq Al-Awsat citing unnamed western diplomatic sources reported that Israel used F-35 stealth fighter jets on late Sunday night to attack “Iranian advisers” and a shipment of ballistic missile launchers from Iran at the Ashraf base located northeast of Baghdad.
The air strikes targeted a base deep inside the Iraqi airspace: some 80 km from the Iranian border and this represents a sign that Israel has expanded the scope of its anti-Iranian operations in the region.
The strikes reportedly killed members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iran-backed Lebanese Shia militia Hezbollah.
In the first attack Iranian-made ballistic missiles were attacked as they were transported to the base via trucks used to transport refrigerated food
A second attack took place on July 19, according to the report.
Asharq Al-Awsat reported that the second attack by Israel on Sunday on a base in Ashraf, northeast of Baghdad, had targeted Iranian advisers who were present at the base and a shipment of ballistic missiles that had just arrived from Iran.
The alleged attacks come after Israel has been more openly striking Iranian targets in neighbouring Syria.
So far there has been no official Israeli confirmation or denial of the reports.
